Meine Arbeiten entstehen als graphische und photographische offene Zyklen, -/parallel/ meistens in Zeiträumen von 1 bis 4 Jahren. Inhalt soll die Form bestimmen.
In meinen Werk-Zyklen versuche ich, das was mich bewegt, jedes Mal ganz individuell „visuell zu prägen“. Das bedeutet, ich erfinde mich stets aufs Neue. Die Zeit ist zu kostbar, um sich – zu wiederholen -.
… und übrigens: Erkennbarkeit resultiert nicht nur vom Schriftzug des Künstlers aber – und davon ich bin tiefst überzeugt – auch vom Inhalt jedes seines künstlerischen Schaffens.

Dittloff versteht seine Werke als bildgewordene Interpretationen oder visuelle Entsprechungen unserer gegenwärtigen Existenz.

As to my pieces, they evolve simultaneously as graphic and photographic open-structured cycles, usually over a time period of 1 up to 4 years.
Content governs form.
I make an effort to visually “MOULD“ topics by using whatever “moves“ me at a particular time, which involves constantly reinventing myself, finding myself back in the process …time is too precious to be “repeating“ oneself…
It would be a waste of time to linger on a “small discovery” and declare it “LIFELONG”, adopting it as a “STYLE”.
In these matters, I can only speak for myself of course, for my working methods and my spirit as an artist. Clinging to a small discovery would mean stagnation for me, monotony in times of artistic freedom.

Mes travaux sont élaborés sous forme de cycles graphiques et photographiques parallèles ouverts, le plus souvent d’une durée de 1 à 4 ans.
Le contenu définit la forme.
Je cherche chaque fois à MARQUER visuellement et individuellement les thèmes de ce qui me « touche ». Cela signifie que je me découvre constamment. …Le temps est trop précieux pour se « répéter »…
Il serait dommage d’utiliser son temps à faire passer de « petites découvertes » pour des découvertes
PERPÉTUELLES et d’en faire un « style ».
Ceci n’engage que moi bien sûr, ainsi que mes méthodes de travail et mon tempérament, ces « petites découvertes » ne seraient pour moi qu’une forme de somnolence, une monotonie dans une époque qui autorise la liberté artistique.

I miei lavori rappresentano dei cicli grafici e fotografici paralleli non conclusi. Essi si sviluppano prevalentemente in periodi di 1-4 anni.
Il contenuto detta la forma.
In ogni ciclo cerco di «PLASMARE» visualmente le tematiche in base a ciò che mi «coinvolge». Questo significa: svolgo un costante lavoro di ri/cerca di me stesso. … Il tempo è troppo prezioso per «ripetersi»…
Sarebbe un peccato ingigantire una «piccola scoperta» assegandole lo status di «A VITA» e ingabbiandola nella parola «STILE».
Naturalmente parlo solo per me stesso, il mio metodo di lavoro e il mio temperamento. Lei, la «piccola scoperta» diventerebbe per me un momento di stasi, ovvero di monotonia in tempi di libertà artistica.

En primer lugar darle la bienvenida y agradecerle el interés mostrado.
Mis trabajos se presentan como ciclos gráficos y fotográficos aún abiertos. Estos ciclos se desarrollan de forma paralela en periodos de 1 a 4 años.
El contenido determina la forma.
En cada ciclo intento «PLASMAR» visualmente y de forma individual aquello que de alguna manera me «emociona». Esto es: me re/descubro constantemente. … El tiempo es demasiado valioso como para malgastarlo «repitiéndose»…
Por eso sería una pena asignarle a un «pequeño descubrimiento» un título de «POR VIDA» encerrándolo dentro del concepto «ESTILO».
Está claro que sólo me refiero a mí mismo, a mi método de trabajo y mi temperamento. Eso, el «pequeño descubrimiento», sería para mí más bien una pausa, un momento de monotonía en los tiempos de la libertad artística.
Bienvenido a mi EXPOSICIÓN VIRTUAL. Sería un placer conocer su opinión y sería un placer aún mayor si quisiera adquirir alguno de mis trabajos.
